Violence against children

Thursday, November 27, 2008

Victims of violence against children are growing in speedily and the victims are not only reluctant but also afraid to speak about their terrible experiences . They are compelling by their parents to forget this and they have been asked to lead a normal life.

* Girls are becoming victims of sexual harassment and abuse

* Girls when they are reaching their puberty, they are forced to be in the sex trafficking

* Child labour is another curse for the children. With their tender fingers they have to work in the match factory or beedi industries

* Anti social elements made them to beg in the roads and streets

* Teenage pregnancy is another major problem and they are using dreadful methods to abort the pregnancy

* Rape, yet another problem for the girls. It happens not only because of lust but also for taking revenge against the girls family
